Two O’Clock Slump?

Are you like me and once two o’clock hits you are tired and hungry?
These simple snack will all help you thru the rest of your day and help sustain you until dinner.
I like my snacks to contain some protein, not be too high in calories, and be tasty.

Cheese!  So many options here.  I love string cheese, the babybel in the red wax, sliced cheddar or provolone.  You name it I love.  Just make sure to stick to one serving so you don’t kill your calorie count for the day.

Trail mix.  Again so good for you, but be conscious of portion control.  I’m not a huge fan of raisins but Trader Joe’s has a ton of different options that have not a raisin in them.

Hummus.  Can’t go wrong with hummus.  Use cucumbers to scoop it up rather than pita chips and you still get the crunch but save a lot of calories.

Hard boiled eggs.  I like to boil have a dozen eggs early in the week to have on hand.  Perfect portable portioned snack.

Almonds.  Or any nut actually.  These babies really have staying power to get you thru the rest of the day.
